So, I just wanted to say that if you're planning on voting for the McCain-Palin ticket on November 4th (or already have absentee etc...), don't tell me about it. Why? Because I am not your friend.

Here it goes- For the gazillion reasons that the Republican party is a far cry from promoting fiscal conservatism and stability, being strong on national defense, and so on and so forth... I actually don't give a crap. You and I, and everyone else in the world knows that the rich will continue to shit on the middle and lower classes no matter what ideological direction American leadership goes. It's pointless to talk about this policy.

What isn't so pointless, to me at least, is the social and intellectual reality that our leaders live in. No, I don't mean I want a regular joe who "understands" my pain.... I mean I want someone who I could cheat off of in Science or English class and be confident I pass. Do you know what I mean?

So this brings me to why I am not your friend... I am not your friend if you knowingly promote people who believe homosexuality is a sin, oppose abortion in cases of rape and incest, oppose real sex education, believe Jesus walked with dinosaurs, voted against martin luther king day, and who like to shoot wolverines and bears from helicopters to run this country. Because no matter what jimmer jammer you have to say about fiscal policy, taxation, and whatever the hell else isn't gonna matter a damn after this bailout- you're telling me that you give our leaders permission to be peons without any social or intellectual reality. So before you cast your vote (or don't), let's be reasonable here.

It is an especially chilly morning here in Cleveland Heights. I don't know if it's just all of the tree cover, or if it's really just chilly. These autumn mornings are especially difficult for me, as so many important things in my life seem to have happened-or begun- on days like these. Everything from my first love to my awful breakup. I started smoking on mornings like these. I started drinking a lot of coffee on mornings like these. I started using narcotics on mornings like these. There is something about these chilly Ohio mornings.
